8:45 am phonecall

For some reason this hospital allows no visitors at all, not even me, till 3. So Idiotic and authoritarian yuk!
It's a huge ward six beds in a space about 9x the size of the ward in London, which also had 6 beds, and people are not in as criticality ill... The St George's crew seemed flexible but these seem to be making up restrictive rules just because they can.

Madi had a good night, a nurse who spoke to Madi's nurse tells me, the doctors haven't done their rounds yet, so there'll be more to report later. I am concerned she had such a bad migraine, and will ask why her headache got worse and why she got no alternative to paracetamol or ibuprofen.

I'll walk bonzo... If this rain stops. Xx

http://www.surreyandsussex.nhs.uk/patients-visitors/visiting-times/ in the afternoon? Is this the right hospital in Redhill?

so, mark, is Madi in Redhill now? it sounds like the old hospitals where doctors are doctors and nurses are nurses and the frontiers are never crossed! how will you find out what the doctors say if you can't be there? will madi have to interrogate them?
when i write a comment, i wanted to ask you, the 'Preview' button next to the 'Publish' button, what does it do? yesterday i pressed preview after i had written a message and my message disappeared.

anyway, good that you got a good night's sleep, Madi. as they say in Greece, 'the sun feeds the calves and sleep feeds all good children'. have you been eating? need to give your body material to heal itself with. maybe food from home, if it's crap at the hospital.
